CHRIS CASTONGUAY
Manager, Operations
Chris Castonguay is a senior operations leader with over 30 years of experience directing complex investigations, surveillance operations, and high-risk assignments across public safety and investigative environments. As Manager of Operations, he oversees investigative planning, resource deployment, quality assurance, and risk management, ensuring all work is delivered efficiently, lawfully, and to the highest professional standard.
Chris brings extensive expertise in operational leadership, investigative strategy, and personnel supervision. He has managed multidisciplinary teams, coordinated time-sensitive field operations, and provided executive-level oversight on complex and sensitive files. His background supports strong decision-making, client confidence, and consistent delivery of defensible investigative results.
He retired from the Barrie Police Service after more than three decades of service, including senior investigative leadership roles, and also served with the Canadian Armed Forces as a Military Police Sergeant in operations and training. These combined experiences provide him with a disciplined, structured approach to investigations, safety, and accountability.
Chris has completed advanced leadership and evidence-based policing programs, including executive training through the University of Cambridge, and brings deep technical knowledge in surveillance operations, interviewing and analysis, risk mitigation, and evidence management. He is highly experienced in compliance, investigator safety, and quality control standards essential to private-sector investigative services.
As Operations Manager, Chris ensures investigations are well planned, professionally executed, and aligned with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and best practices—delivering reliable, discreet, and results-driven investigative services.
